ANNUAL DAY REPORT 2019-20
Introduction
With a deep sense of exhilaration and delectation, we present the Annual Report of the year 2019-20.
We would like to begin the Annual Report by thanking the divine grace and blessings of the God Almighty upon our School.
We gratefully remember the supportive management whose continuous support to our ideology of education has enabled the school to come this far. Our heartfelt gratitude to the Rector & Manager, Rev Fr. Devassy Chirackel and Rev Fr. K T Varghese, our Administrator for their able guidance and encouragement. We also place on record our gratitude to Rev Fr. Babu Manissery the Principal of Higher Secondary School for being the pillar of support and motivation.
This year has been truly a rewarding year – each day having its own spice and flavour, to savour. We wish to begin with our performance on the academic front.
Academics
Achieving academic excellence is at the heart of our endeavour as educators. Academic achievements reflect a demonstrated ability to perform to the best of one’s ability by developing one’s intellectual potentials and skills with diligence and ardour. We are happy to share the details of the commendable performances of our students in the Board Examinations Class X and XII.
In class X, the result was 100%. Around 52 students appeared for the Class X Board Examinations 2018-19, 43 students secured distinction, 5 students secured full A1 in all subjects according to the National Average Grading System. Jeeva Raju was the School topper with 98.3 % percentage of marks. Donnah Elizabeth Jose secured 100/100 for Mathematics, Jeeva Raju and Sreerag S secured 100/100 for Social Science. Sreerag S, Jeeva Raju and Donnah Elizabeth received the Certificate of Merit from the CBSE board for their outstanding performance.
The senior Secondary Section
In Class XII the result was 100%, Aleena Ann Koshy secured 100/100 in English. The school topper was Sherin Shaji with 87% of marks.
Our First batch of Informatics Practices will be appearing for the Board Examination this year. Our labs are well equipped where CBSE boards Examinations are conducted every year. Motivational classes and career guidance sessions are regularly arranged for the senior secondary classes.
The senior secondary students took part in the Science Exhibitions organized by the BMM School, Pampady and won the second position in the working class model.
Scholarship Examinations
Mathmcsquare Scholarship Examination was held in the School for classes III to X on 16th December 2019.
Around 6 Students of Class X appeared for the National Talent Search Examination conducted by the NCERT on 4th November.
Academic Year 2019-20 Inauguration
The New Academic Year 2019-20 was inaugurated by Rev Fr. Devassy Chirackel the New Rector and Manager on 4th June 2019. A Prayer Meeting was held in connection with the inauguration, invoking God’s blessing upon the School and the School activities. During the event, a rapturous welcome was extended to Rev Fr. Devassy Chirackel, the New Rector and Manager of the School.
