The Practical Life Curriculum Area
Various strategies of teaching methods like role plays, interactive sessions and panel discussions cater to the learning needs of all categories of students. Students are given opportunities to dissent, debate, and thus help them formulate individual opinions on situations, ideas, systems and practices by developing skills to think and reason independently.
Innovative and joyful experiential pedagogies such as Art-Integrated and Sport-Integrated Learning, Storytelling, etc. promote reflection, critical thinking, creativity, initiation, self-direction and other 21st Century Skills in order to help the learner attain the learning outcome appropriate for the grades and subjects and help them apply and demonstrate the learning in real life situations.
In the context of modern world which is moving towards rapid Technological development, it is imperative that the education provided is based on spiritual, moral and social values. The most significant need of the hour is to nurture the basic values of tolerance, humanism, democracy, and secularism in the student.
Education with a holistic perspective is concerned with the development of every person's intellectual, emotional, social, physical, artistic, creative and spiritual potentials. The school encourages the Child’s participation in Scholastic, Co-Scholastic and the Extra-Curricular activities.
School focuses on generating Environmental awareness in students and helps them understand the fragility of our environment and the importance of its protection. Promoting environmental awareness is an easy way to become an environmental steward and participate in creating a brighter future for children.
The School focuses on an underlined teacher-pupil relationship. We strongly believe that the teacher is a driving force who can influence the child to realize his inner beauty and goodness and thus make the school his second home. The physical presence of the educators with the learner will prevent the negative influences over them.
